Calendula 'Bronze Beauty'

$5.00

There is a special part in my garden where the calendula grows almost year round. It is in my front yard under a huge tree in dappled shade and all around my roses. I LOVE calendula so so much. This variety is simply beautiful and the petals almost glisten in the sun. The bees and katydids love them!! They will bloom in the winter here and love the cool weather. They are the first to bloom in January and provide food for the bees when there isn’t a whole lot else. In part shade the stems grow long and make for a great cut flower as well. I also pick and dry their flowers and make a skin oil out of them. The petals are edible and they have medicinal healing properties for the skin. Of course, before consuming anything, please do your own research!!

Calendula also give off so many seeds that you only need to plant once. You can throw these seeds out before a rain and watch them grow!

Approximately 20 seeds per pack.
