Columbine 'Pink Petticoat'
These delightful little columbines are very petite and a favorite amongst florists that I work with and myself. I just love them! These seeds are 3rd year generation grown by me. They now vary in color from a soft pink to more deep raspberry tones, so you are warned that in addition to the images you may get all pink blooms or lighter pink blooms or even white blooms! I direct sow them in late Fall into late Winter and by Spring have lots of stems per plant. They are perennials in Southern California, I find they grow best in shade with a little bit of light. I have them scattered amongst my old roses. If you leave a few heads on the stem and let them go to seed, you will be shocked at how many tiny little seeds will fall out when fully dry. I spread them all around so new plants will pop up for the next year. I have had a few plants die off so I make sure to keep spreading out a fresh batch of seeds once the plants are done blooming. Enjoy!!!
Approximately 50 seeds per pack.
*All parts of the plant and seeds are poisonous.
