Scabiosa 'Starflower'
These scabiosa are popular for their seed heads after all the petals have fallen off! I love their petals of soft pale blue before they fall away. These seeds were hand harvested at Kathleen’s farm, Frogtown Flora. They were grown pesticide free and in the warm Los Angeles sun.
Kathleen tray sowed these plants last Fall and planted so they could over winter. If you live in a mild climate you can do so and then you will get blooms come late Spring and early Summer. You can also sow in late winter/early Spring for Summer blooms. Keep cutting blooms to give away to more and more blooms. Once petals fall off, let seeds dry on the head and then harvest once fully dry.
Approximately 20 seeds per pack.
