Sweet Pea 2023 Mix
Sweet Peas are one of my favorite flowers to grow and are a must have for their beauty and fragrance. They make great cut flowers and I like to cut them very long to include tendrils and leaves. I don’t have the space to grow them in an organized way of keeping track of which are what variety. Hence the 2023 mix! Saving sweet pea seeds are very easy and last year I saved a lot of seed from the colors posted in the images. Colors range from pinks to purples to reds and creams. If you don’t mind being surprised about what colors you end up with and want to give them a go, then this mix is for you. The way I plant them is: I always soak the seeds in water for 24 hours before planting. I do an early sowing in seed trays and plant out by early March for May to June blooms. I also will direct sow seeds from January on to have spring blooms. Once they start blooming, keep cutting the stems and flowers and the plant will keep giving you more and more blooms for weeks! Once you are done cutting, let them go to seed and you will get sooooo many seeds!
Approximately 20 seeds per pack.
*Seeds and all parts of plant are poisonous.
